Guide 1: Individual Files

If your download looks like this, with individual .brushset and/or .swatches files, tap "Download" on one of the files. A new tab will open for that download (keep the old tab open so you can go back and download the rest of the files).

In Safari

  • There will be a popup asking if you want to download. Tap download.
  • At the top of the screen, you'll see an icon of a down arrow inside a circle, tap that.
  • Tap the file and it will then open in Procreate.

In Chrome

  • At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a popup with the file name. Tap Download.
  • Once the file has downloaded, tap "Open In..."
  • Select Procreate from the list.

Guide 2: .zip Files

If your download looks like this, with only one file and .zip at the end of the file name, that means all your files are all in this folder. Tap download, and follow the steps below.

In Safari

  • There will be a popup asking if you want to download. Tap download.
  • At the top of the screen, you'll see an icon of a down arrow inside a circle. Tap that.
  • You'll see the recently downloaded .zip file in the list there. Tap it.

In Chrome

  • At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a popup with the file name. Tap Download.
  • Once the file has downloaded, tap "Open In..."
  • Select "Open in Downloads" from the list

Unzip the File

Once you've followed the steps above in either Safari or Chrome, this will take you to your Files app downloads folder. You should see the newly downloaded file at the top.

  • Tap the file, and it will create a new, blue folder which is now unzipped.
  • Tap to open that new, blue folder and you'll see all your files there.
  • Tap individual files to open them in Procreate.

Another Option: Install via Procreate

  • Open Procreate and tap the brush icon.
  • Select the Brush Library you want to add the brushes to. If you don't see all libraries, pinch the Brush Library screen with two fingers to zoom out and choose one by tapping it.
  • Tap the + at the top right of the Brush Library.
  • Choose Import from Files.
  • Navigate to your .brushset file and tap it. Your brushes will appear at the top of the Brush Library you have selected.
  • To import swatches, tap the color dot top right, and navigate to the Palettes tab.
  • As above, tap the +, choose Import from Files, then pick the .swatches file. The palette will appear at the end of your Swatches panel.

Notes

  • .brushset files are like a folder full of brushes. In Procreate, they'll show up inside the brush library you last opened, at the top of the list.
  • .swatches files are color palettes. To find them after loading in Procreate, tap the color dot in the top right corner, tap "Palettes" and scroll all the way down to the end.
  • There will also be a PDF in your download. This is a guide about that particular brush set, with more information about the brushes, video links, etc.
